Disney Conservation Fund
Founded in 1995, the Disney Conservation Fund supports nonprofit organizations to reverse the decline of wildlife by combining research and community engagement, and to increase the time kids spend in nature – leading to happier, healthier kids who are inspired to care about the planet.
Disney Conservation Fund supports the important work of both local and global nonprofit organizations to positively impact wildlife, ecosystems and the communities closely linked to their survival.
Disney supported IFAW’s efforts to rescue thousands of endangered African penguins after an oil spill in South Africa in 2000. Since then, it has supported IFAW's emergency responses to many natural disasters, including the Haiti earthquake, Asian tsunami, Japan earthquake, Hurricane Katrina and others.
